I don't know if this makes sense but I hope so.
Arley in also snowy SookeSmiley Quilterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05741239366066199176noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4905021314333876978.post-69171731159202578972010-11-21T19:35:46.428-08:002010-11-21T19:35:46.428-08:00Thanks for the tip! Many, many blocks left to go but I'm eager to get it finished! I'd love to see a photo of the quilt you did that way. email me at mavisreyn at yahoo dot ca.

Thanks!Mavishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17938122053597251186noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4905021314333876978.post-31600037710635870902010-11-21T19:13:44.442-08:002010-11-21T19:13:44.442-08:00I just did a QAYG on a big quilt for the very reas...I just did a QAYG on a big quilt for the very reason you're contemplating doing it. I used the instructions from Quilters Cache and found them very, very readable and clear.

The quilt I did this technique on is one of the City Quilts from Cherrie House's book, and you can never tell it was done in any way but the usual.

One thing that worked even better was that I was able to use 3 different colors of threads for both upper and bobbin thread. I worked in sections and did all of one color at a time. I would never have done that with the total quilt in the machine.Sequanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08617638382237815770noreply@blogger.com
