Celtic Trinity Knot (pattern by Deborah Cohen) machine pieced by me and machine quilted by Arlene McKenzie |
My Jack Russell Terrier, Sara, LOVES my quilts!! |
And here it is hanging outside on LAUNDRY day which is how this linky party started right? Bonnie was changing her sheets and had a very good idea. |
Now...off to change the sheets and finish packing for my trip. Thanks Bonnie of Quiltville for the opportunity!
Until next time,
Mavis
I am so proud of YOU! I am working on one with 2 1/2" strips for my favorite Daughter in law. I love this large size!
ReplyDeleteThanks Cheryl. Please share your pictures okay?? I don't think I've seen your original one which I do believe you finished, right?
ReplyDeleteThis is just SO pretty -- I love it!

ReplyDeleteThat is gorgeous! I have seen the pattern before but it never appealed to me like that does.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!

ReplyDeleteOh my...love this quilt...great pattern!! And sweet Sara!!...my pups like my quilt too!! Hugs
ReplyDeletegreat quilt! Love it!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, I'm in love with this one. I have a king too, and as much as my husband has begged me to try, I have yet to undertake a king sized project. Your quilt is magnificent, and it frames the bed perfectly. Love your color choices. I may have to check out that pattern now that it is simplified a bit. I can't imagine piecing that in 2 inch blocks. What a labor of love!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful quilt! Really??? A bazillion 2 1/2" squares??? Set in chunks??? I totally understand the over-estimation on the tiny squares (LOL), but I have never put a quilt together in chunks. That sounds really difficult. I'm amazed at the amount of work you have put into this quilt, but it was worth it for the outstanding heirloom you have created. Thanks so much for sharing it.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen this pattern before, but it is great! You did wonderful job.
